The number of questions now surprising over how climate data was produced is amazing to see. This is under covered and under reported in the mainstream media.
So many basic questions come to mind, but my take away is how reliable is any of the data being used? How accurate are the models versus the data? Whey is this data collection and manipulation process open?

That was a mistake and it made tree-ring people angry." A large data set he used from bristlecone pines in the American west has attracted similar concern.
